The collection of the Middle-Rhine Museum also includes drawings of the architect Hermann Nebel (1816-1893), who had been town master mason of Koblenz from 1847. Besides a multitude of architectural drawings, there are also pictures which Nebel drew on his travels through Europe. Especially Nebel’s drawings in watercolour clearly show his artistic talent and that the architect was receptive to the appeal of historic landscapes.
