The Society of Friends of the Middle-Rhine Museum and the Ludwig Museum in Koblenz supports both of Koblenz’s museums. The society’s contribution helps the museums in many ways: the acquisition of art works, the realisation of exhibitions and events as well as the publication of catalogues – to name but a few examples. The members make up the lobby of both museums, they support them in the interest of Koblenz’s cultural life and they ensure that the museums can preserve, expand, support and present our artistic and cultural heritage now and in future. The society is committed in a financial and an idealistic sense. With the help of special exhibitions, guided tours, excursions and regular information about the museums’ activities, the members give others insight into the museums’ work. Members of the society have free entry to the exhibitions of both museums. Therefore, a membership is doubly worth it.
